We’re looking for a dedicated, organised, and motivated Payroll & HR Administrator to join our HR team and play a key role in supporting our people operations. This role offers the opportunity to be involved in both payroll and HR administration while contributing to key system implementation projects that will shape the future of HR at EtihadPrime.
Role Overview
This is a hands-on, multi-functional role where you'll support the day-to-day HR administration and payroll processing for our internal team and field staff. You will work closely with the HR Manager and Finance Team to ensure smooth operations, data accuracy, and compliance with UK employment legislation and payroll standards.
This is an ideal role for someone who is detail-oriented, process-driven, and passionate about delivering excellent service to employees.
Key Responsibilities include:
Payroll Administration
Process monthly payroll using Sage 50 Payroll, ensuring accuracy, timely submission, and compliance
Post payroll journals using SOS and reconcile data with finance systems
Manage statutory payments and deductions (PAYE, NI, pensions, SSP, etc.)
Respond to payroll-related queries and liaise with HMRC or other agencies as needed
HR Administration
Support the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, contracts, changes, leavers, and offboarding documentation
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both digital and hard copy, in line with GDPR and compliance
Draft and issue HR letters, contracts, and policy communications
Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day HR and payroll queries from employees and line managers
Coordinate new joiner inductions and assist with staff compliance checks
HR Systems & Projects
Assist in the implementation and rollout of our new HRIS (Cezanne) (Darwin)
Help migrate employee data into the new system, test system features, and support user training
Continuously improve HR admin processes and support HR reporting
What We're Looking For
1–3 years’ experience in a similar HR and/or payroll administrative role
Hands-on experience with Sage 50 Payroll is essential
Knowledge of UK employment law and payroll regulations
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and confidence with HR or payroll systems
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented attitude
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively
