Job Title: Production Worker - Bottling Line

Job Description

Join our dynamic production team where you will accurately read, interpret, and execute job instructions. You will load materials, operate and monitor production line operations to ensure an even flow of products. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the bottling line runs smoothly, while removing, separating, documenting, and reporting defective materials or products. You will also label, package, and palletize finished products for storage or shipment and document work completion via paperwork and computer entry. Monitoring material levels and resupplying the production line is crucial to avoid work stoppages. You will follow standard operating procedures and perform additional duties as required, including working extended hours when necessary.

 

Responsibilities

Read, interpret, and execute job instructions accurately.

Load materials and operate production line equipment.

Monitor production line operations for consistency.

Ensure smooth operation of the bottling line.

Identify and report defective materials or products.

Label, package, and palletize finished products.

Document work completion through paperwork and computer entry.

Monitor and manage material levels.

Initiate restock notifications timely to avoid work stoppages.

Adhere to standard operating procedures.

Perform additional duties and extended hours when needed.

Essential Skills

Experience in production, bottling line, or machine operation.

2+ years in general production and manufacturing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Familiarity with packaging and bottling processes.

Experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial.

Work Environment

You will work in a well-established production environment with about 50 colleagues. The company is renowned worldwide as a leader in manufacturing chemicals and test kits for monitoring water quality. Shifts currently run Monday through Thursday, 6am-4:30pm, eventually reverting to a 1st shift from 7am-3:30pm, and a 2nd shift from 2:00pm-10:30pm. Join a company with a rich history, originally established as W. A. Taylor & Company in 1930 in Baltimore.

 

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
