Job Responsibilities:

 

● Develop and execute a merchandise assortment plan for the Sports Department to meet or exceed financial targets.

 

● Engage in open-to-buy (OTB) meetings with the Planning team to meet sales, profitability, and inventory turnover goals.

 

● Continuously analyze market trends across social media platforms and competitor landscapes to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.

 

● Craft assortment strategies that balance SKU range, depth versus breadth, product newness, and pricing/margin objectives.

 

● Assess in-season and post-season sales to determine product performance, informing adjustments in strategy and future assortments.

 

● Forge and nurture strong vendor relationships, seeking new partnerships that bolster SHEIN's product offerings.

 

● Monitor weekly sales to identify potential reorder opportunities and recommend markdown strategies for underperforming.

 

Job Requirements

 

● 5-8 years of experience within the Branded Sports sector

 

● A track record of successful vendor negotiations, emphasizing product quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.

 

● Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace for effective data analysis and presentation.
