HR Service Jobs is seeking a professional, highly organized Remote Virtual Receptionist to support Nigerian law firms in delivering exceptional client service. As the first point of contact for clients and legal professionals, you will manage inbound calls, schedule appointments, respond to email inquiries, and perform basic administrative duties — all from the comfort of your home. This role is ideal for individuals with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct client phone calls professionally and promptly.

  • Handle client inquiries via phone, email, and live chat with discretion and accuracy.

  • Schedule appointments and manage legal professionals calendars efficiently.

  • Relay messages, take detailed notes, and ensure follow-ups are completed.

  • Assist with light administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and email management.

  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while dealing with sensitive legal information.

  • Provide general support to legal teams and partners as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English.

  • Strong telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills.

  • High level of professionalism and discretion when dealing with confidential matters.

  • Good organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.

  • Basic understanding of legal terminology is a plus.

Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a receptionist, customer service, or administrative support role (preferably in a legal or professional services environment).

  • Fresh graduates with strong communication skills and internship experience will also be considered.

Working Hours

  • Flexible part-time and full-time shifts available.

  • Shifts typically fall between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM WAT (West Africa Time), Monday to Friday.

  • Occasional weekend availability may be required based on client need.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of Nigerian legal practices and client confidentiality protocols is advantageous.

  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and make sound decisions.

  • Exceptional time management and organizational ability.

  • Calm and composed under pressure, with the ability to prioritize in real-time.
