The Role- Trainee Recruitment Consultant

  • £27.5k starting salary- rising to £32.5k after your first promotion (typically within 6 months)
  • On Target Earnings: Year1 £65k+, Year 2 £85k+ and £95k+
  • Uncapped commission with no threshold- earn from your very first deal

What You’ll Be Doing- Trainee Recruitment Consultant

This is full-cycle recruitment, meaning you’ll own the process from start to finish:

  • Win new business- pitch to clients, build relationships, and secure hiring needs through networking, cold calling, and strategic outreach
  • Source & screen candidates- use job boards, cold calling, referrals, and your network to find top talent.
  • Manage offers & placement- guide salary negotiations and close deals that benefit both your candidate and your client
  • Stay ahead of the game- deliver valuable market insights, track industry trends, and position yourself as a specialist in your niche
  • Promote job opportunities- craft compelling of ads and use multiple platforms to reach the best candidates in the market
