Full job description

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and teens affected by domestic violence? Join Juno Women’s Aid as a Children and Teens Support Worker and provide vital, strength-based support to young survivors. In this role, you’ll provide high-quality casework support to children and teen survivors of DVA (aged 5-17) in various settings, carry out risk assessments, and develop personal safety plans. You’ll be an advocate for children and teens to other agencies, plan and deliver therapeutic group work programs, and maintain accurate and confidential records of all work undertaken. Juno Women's Aid is the largest domestic abuse organisation in Nottingham and one of the largest in the UK. We work with women, children, and teens who have been affected by domestic abuse in Ashfield, Broxtowe, Gedling, Nottingham City, and Rushcliffe.

 

We run a wide range of services including the 24-hour Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Freephone Domestic and Sexual Violence Helpline. This is where you can speak to one of our specialist trained female support workers 365 days a year.
