In the past two years, we have seen promising growth from sellers based in the UK, Europe and Turkey selling on our marketplaces in the US, Canada, and Mexico. To support this growth, we are opening an office in London, to provide better, localized support to these sellers and accelerate our seller acquisition efforts in the region.

 

 

 

As a Senior Manager of Strategic Account Management, your primary responsibility will be to drive adoption and spending for Walmart Connect (WMC) and Walmart Fulfilment Services (WFS). WMC is Walmart's retail media network that enables advertisers to reach and engage Walmart customers through various channels, including online, in-store, and across the web. It leverages Walmart's extensive customer data to provide targeted advertising solutions, helping brands create meaningful connections and drive sales. WFS allows sellers to store their inventory at Walmart fulfilment centres. When a customer places an order on Walmart.com, WFS handles the picking, packing, shipping, and customer service, ensuring fast and reliable delivery.

 

 

 

You will identify key Marketplace sellers who can benefit from adopting both WMC and WFS. You will build trust and foster win-win relationships, help sellers understand the value proposition and benefits, and assist them with the onboarding process. For existing sellers, you will track the performance and ROI of WMC and WFS, and through joint planning, help these sellers maximize their ROI on Marketplace.

 

 

 

You will collaborate closely with the Europe Marketing Team to develop seller education and communications. Additionally, you will work with the Business Development and Account Management teams to incorporate these services into new business pitches and joint business planning sessions.

 

 

 

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to develop and present compelling business cases aimed at improving the seller experience for Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) and Walmart Connect (WMC). This includes tailoring the proposition for European sellers, optimizing operations, and driving technological enhancements and features. Additionally, you will work with operational teams as needed to resolve any issues sellers may encounter.

Walmart Connect: Be the expert for Europe on the WMC proposition. Utilize consultative selling techniques to build trust and encourage sellers to adopt the service. Leverage the right strategies to help sellers maximize the ROI they achieve through Walmart Connect.

Walmart Fulfilment Services: Be the expert for Europe on the WFS proposition. Utilize consultative selling techniques to build trust and encourage sellers to adopt the service. Provide support for seamless onboarding and manage any operational challenges sellers may face.

Building Relationships with Key Decision Makers: Develop strong relationships with key influencers and decision-makers within the senior management of prospective accounts, as well as with internal stakeholders and working teams. Collaborate to create business plans that exceed expectations. Gain a deep understanding of sellers' goals, decision-making processes, and success metrics.

Advocating For the Platform: Champion and evangelize our platform, and its evolving capabilities, to prospective sellers. Attend trade shows and external events to generate new partner opportunities.

Being Seller Obsessed: Listen to seller feedback, challenges, and needs. Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, site operations, partner support, etc.) to continuously improve the platform and experience.

Thinking Creatively: Explore and innovate! Develop and test new partnerships or services that create shared value for sellers, customers, and Walmart.
