As a Supply Chain Management Officer at The Uwit Job, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain processes and ensuring seamless operations across multiple locations in Nairobi. Key Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline and enhance end-to-end supply chain processes.
Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
Inventory Control: Implement effective inventory management strategies to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
Logistics Coordination: Oversee the transportation and distribution of products to various locations, optimizing routes and reducing lead times.
Risk Mitigation: Identify and address potential risks within the supply chain, implementing proactive measures to ensure business continuity.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years in supply chain management roles, demonstrating success in optimizing processes and improving efficiency.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess complex supply chain issues and develop effective solutions.
